The Parent/Child Resources Team of the Quesnel Child, Youth and Family Network consists of services and programs for parents and caregivers to enhance the healthy development of children in our community. The Team meets on a monthly basis to provide representation, communication and liaison between the Network and Team members and to provide needs identification, planning and prioritization of related programs and activities.
The goals of the Parent/Child Resources Team are:

To provide information and awareness about parenting services and supports among service providers, parents and the community at large.

To identify service gaps in the parent/child resources service area and to develop plans to address these gaps.

To identify and acquire priority training and professional development for early childhood and parenting educators and service providers.

To develop, implement and promote practice standards for parenting resource service providers.
The Parent/Child Resources Team has had a number of successful projects and programs, including:

Annual Children's Health Fair/Early Learning Expo

Acquiring funding for the delivery of Growing Great Kids and Integrated Case Management training
