CCATEC responds to the training needs of First Nations communities in the Cariboo Chilcotin and acts as a resource for information regarding funding, training, and employment.

Or contact the employment coordinator in your area. Many Bands and organizations in the Cariboo Chilcotin now have employment coordinators in your area.

Services

  • One on one support and employment counseling
  • Referring individuals for training and education as necessary
  • Assistance with on the job training when appropriate
  • Assisting Aboriginal individuals who are having difficulty entering and remaining in the workforce
  • Assisting individuals to identify and overcome employment barriers
  • Assisting employers to recruit suitable, qualified Aboriginal employees
  • Assisting with accessing skill enhancement programs
  • Also may assist with resume development, employment referrals, job searches, and career assessments
