Provides support, crisis intervention, referrals and information for victims of crime.
Client Group
all ages (with strict guidelines regarding children) who are victims of crimes and traumatic events or who have questions regarding the police or court process

| Procedure: | Anyone with questions or people who wish to access this service may be referred by an agency or may self-refer. Persons may phone or drop-in to have their questions answered, to discuss police or court process or to receive assistance as outlined below. |

- information on: rights under the Victim of Crime Act, availability of Victim Service(s), harassment stalking, personal safety, restraining orders and peace bonds, police file updates, police process, court process, crime prevention information, community resources and court updates
- support: emotional, crisis intervention
- referral to: community agencies, Crown counsel, counseling services, mental health services, Ministry of Children and Family Development, police, probation
- assistance with: completing Crime Victim Assistance applications, completing victim impact statements
- court: court orientation, court support, court tours
